But first, Mimosas

Happy birthday today to this Lovely right here with the 39 plastic flamingos behind her that I blew up.

Katy invited some of her closest girl friends for a STAYCATION at her home in Austin this past weekend.  You know I was there with bells on! I had a great time seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones.  We hung out by the pool all day and night, chatted, played games, ate, drank, and ended with cannonballs into the pool before bed.  Good times had by all.

I have the best friends. I mean THE BEST.

While I was away (at a staycation - HAHA!), the boys enjoyed the weekend on the lake.  Look at C-Man rocking that paddle board,

Tate jumping off the high dive at Natalie's parents' house,

enjoying a cruise on the boat with Boomer, and

and a family and friends swim with the Penns and Peacocks.

The weekend was a success: family nap time on Sunday. ;)

This week started off with a mini-monsoon of rain, making our pool overflow, the creek come 40 feet up our property, and us lose power at the lake house. Thankfully, no major damage, and we have sunshine (and 99% humidity; thanks, storm) today. Cole and his buddies were ready for some
Peace. Love. Dodgeball Camp.

Given this week's events, I think we could all use a little more peace and love.

Mike and I are back to the grind at work, but I did flip over my legal pad to find this little gem today. In cursive.  I love him.

Happy B-Day, Katy. Happy Flag Day, all. May we be reminded today of the sacrifices so many have made to give us freedom, and may we continue the good fight for my babies, yours, and generations to come.

xo,
Linds
