This has been a busy week, and that is putting it lightly. Cole had his school-wide Speech Meet on Tuesday after a delayed start of school and a snow day on Monday. We found out today (Friday 3/7) that Cole qualified to move on to the All-District Speech Meet! SO. PROUD.
Wednesday, he had an acting part in his class' presentation at Chapel. Their play was about God teaching us to be "Fishers of Men," and Cole was a swimmer...
Apparently a hick swimmer. I give up on trying to correct that thick East Texas twang. Oh, boy.

The entire class sang a couple of songs after the play and did a great job.
Then these two BFFs ran wild "shooting" each other on stage while the other parents were trying to get pictures of their sweet kids. Poor Mrs. Smith. Poor, poor Mrs. Smith. ;)
In other news, I am happy to report that The Boy Who Will Not Go to Bed has been going to sleep and staying in bed all night all week long! I might or might not be bribing him with candy to get him to go to sleep and stay in bed. Don't judge. Sleep is priceless. Our future dental bills, not so much.
