Bringing Old McDonald Back

This week has been "sort of in-between" as Cole would say: not so great, but not bad.

For example, this morning I had to put Tate in his crib in his room at breakfast for time out because he was chewing up Little Smokies sausages and SPEWING them out of his mouth onto the floor. And laughing.
Not a good start to the day.

But, I came home to hear Cole playing an entire song of Old McDonald on the piano. Seriously... he's only had 3 lessons!

After piano practice, we did homework.  Thursday homework always consists of a math work sheet and a book that Cole has to read twice.  We make him read once to me and once to Mike.  These books are made (colored) at school during the week, and the last page is blank where the kids fill in the story.  This week, Cole wrote/drew in his book:

I see a hyena ("I see a he").
I see a honey badger ("I see a HB").

I mean, who really knows how to spell hyena anyway?!
Cole said the honey badger was standing up (on its tail).

We have the best kids ever.
Except when the Honey Badger spews sausage. ;)
