Cole says the funniest things. I know my family has heard some of these before, but I wanted to include them all in a post so that I would have a record of them.
Lindsay: "Cole, what are you painting?"
Cole: "These are a lot of monster trucks."
"I dreamed hard last night. I dreamed about Donald and 'Doug-yas' for my birthday. I dreamed real hard, Mommy." (Donald and Douglas are twin train engines that are part of the Thomas the Tank Engine set.)
"I'm gonna be real sad when all my kids leave." -- Referring to his friends who had been over for dinner with their parents at our house.
"Is this toy from Old McDonald's?" (i.e. from a McDonald's Happy Meal)
Lindsay: "Cole, when your feet get bigger, we can see about getting you a new pair of shoes. You just got a new pair of tennis shoes last month."
"When I am sixteen, I can drive your car, Mommy. And I won't have to hold your hand anymore."
"Boys don't wear bras. I don't wear bras like you. I don't wear make-up either."
To Tate: "Have sweet dreams, buddy. Dream about Hero and Diesel 10." (again, Thomas the Tank Engine trains)
To Tate: "Tater, buy me Hero for my birthday, but don't tell me. You have to keep it a secret."
"Mommy, let's go jump on the trampoline with my mans." (his plastic Army guys)
"When I grow up, I want to be a race car driver, and an airplane pilot, and a doctor that gets babies from out of their mommies' tummies."
"My Daddy can fix anything." (As sweet as that is, clearly he has never seen his Dad try to fix the plumbing in this house.)
"I'm not afraid of bugs. I'm only afraid of bees and wasts." (wasps)
"I'm not afraid of bugs. I'm only afraid of bees and wasts." (wasps)
And on that note, I think I'll ask Tate if I can have a burger and fries now that I'm finished with this post...
So cute! Looking forward to having my own little record one day of Hannah-isms :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the one where he said he wanted to go to "Stan" and fight the bad guys with Uncle Hunter. Love that boy so much!
