For Sale

We have one little boy for sale.  Just one.  He's three, he's potty trained, he has a killer smile,  big brown eyes, and he bats a thousand.

(The fine print: he does not sleep. Ever. And he is stubborn -- obviously gets that from his daddy. Return policy: We'll take him back only when he turns 4 or sleeps through the night, whichever is later.)

Okay, okay, I'm [slightly] kidding. We love him, and he did paint a pretty Easter chick this week. Maybe we'll keep him after all.

On a positive note, this little boy is doing awesome.  He was chosen from his class speech meet to try out for the school speech meet in March for Bible Memorization!  He made his two attorney parents very proud.  He could move to the all-District speech meet in April, where I will be judging.  I'd give him First Place for sure.  Just look at that dimple...

We are loving the warmer weather.  Cole was working on his swing this week and is out practicing his golf stroke with Mike right now.  Tate is napping. I can't imagine WHY he's tired after sleeping in until 4:00 am.

I, myself, had the most fabulous early birthday celebration.  Some friends and I went to a new spa in Tyler, the Rose Spa, for facials, massages, and pedicures.  It was SO FUN.  The Rose Spa is really great, the staff was so accommodating and let us take over the place with laughter, finger sandwiches, and mimosas.  Jill opened the bottle of champagne -- all over herself :)

Cori, me, Jill, Ashley, Natalie, Destiny

These girls really spoiled me with food, drinks, laughter, spa treatments, and gifts.  I am SO blessed to have such a great group of friends in town.  We missed Kelley because her dad is hospitalized. We are hoping both he and my Mamaw get better soon!

I gave the girls small favors - fun, Spring Essie nail polish.

Turning thirty... something isn't so bad, after all ;)

  2. Whoever takes Tate, I'll throw in a three year old, potty trained, sleeps through the night but WON'T nap, opinionated, hard headed, won't take no for an answer, little girl. Thank goodness she's cute. Did I mention she's cute??
